Goodshit med Boots Riley i studio
Forrige uke spilte The Coup på Betong i Oslo. The Coup kan vel på mange måter sies å være det amerikanske Gatas Parlament. Mer så enn andre mer kjente politiske rappere/rapgrupper som Dead Prez, Paris eller Public Enemy. The Coups hovedmann Boots Riley besøkte oss på Goodshit Radio mens vi spilte inn denne ukas sending, og vi viet derfor mer enn en time til å snakk med ham og musikk fra The Coup.

Boots Riley var en usedvanlig hyggelig, glad og medgjørlig mann med mye på hjertet, så vi lot ham snakke mest mulig. Du kan sjekke ut The Coup på myspace-sida dems. Vi snakka dessuten litt med Tommy Tee på telefon, som denne uka slipper et slags uoffisielt album med tittelen ”No Studio No Time”. Albumet består av låter Tommy ikke har tenkt å ha med på albumet sitt ”Studiotime” seinere i år. Likevel har Tommy en nær overdådig spektakulær line up artister på skiva: Masta Ace, Nice N Smooth, P-Dap, Loudmouf Choir, Sean Price, Jojo Pellegrino, AG, Party Arty, Son of Light, A-Lee, Craig G, Bestruck, Nature, Grafh, Large Professor, Agallah og Tim Dog (!). Virkelig ikke til å tjimse av, får en si.
